This spot along the Deseret Peak trail opens up to reveal a marvelous play between the quakies and the pines! The bit of snow still on the ground added a delightful contrast to the thick undergrowth of brush. I love how the tree fully in shadow on the left frames the scene and keeps us focused on the trees ahead.
