I took this photo a few years ago on Halloween. When I got up that morning and noticed that it had snowed in the mountains overnight, so I grabbed my camera and drove up the canyon. I hiked around and took several photos but this is my favorite. To get this shot I climbed the little rise above the switchback for a slightly better view. It turned out to be a very good day.

Last Day of October, First Day of Snow
